Welcome to Numicon

The Numicon Summer Challenge

To celebrate all things sporty, we've put together a set of free activities for you to download and use with class in the lead up to the summer holidays. In true Numicon style the activities are colourful, engaging and interactive. Each activity gives children the chance to investigate, explore and work together using cut-outs and the Numicon apparatus to earn their very own Numicon Summer Challenge certificate.

There are five activity groups, accessible for all at Key Stage 1 (age 5+) with extension activities and questions to stretch your Key Stage 2 children (age 7+).

If you're new to Numicon, you may need a few pieces of apparatus to get you started. The activities use the following items:

• A box of 80 Numicon Shapes
